Since I like to use smaller fish as bait for the larger fish that I fish for, I generally will make sure that I am able to catch some minnows that I can use as bait on a regular basis. To do this, I can’t use any kind of a fishing pole since these fish are just so little and challenging to get on a hook. Instead I use a special net to trap these fish.

When I am ready to collect some fish, I drop down a net trap that I can use to catch them. This trap is excellent since it allows them to swim in from a few different openings. When I am ready, I bring the fishing cast net up and collect any of the minnows that I have managed to get. After catching enough of these, I am ready to start fishing for some larger fish.

It is always great to be able to collect fresh minnows on a regular basis since this makes it really easy for me to catch the larger fish as well. It is great to be able to collect my own bait fish so that I know where it came from and how fresh it really is. I love being able to have all of the bait fish that I need.
